Does it matter what kind of tofu you use? Do you use silken tofu or does it not matter. I have been looking for a dairy free sour cream recipe and this is great. Easier, for some reason, than I thought it would be. Thanks
Wow, I just posted that recipe within the last 30 minutes. LOL
And I’m glad you pointed that out. I forgot to put in silken tofu. That’s all I’ve ever used, pretty much. Don’t know how it would be with any others, although I suspect since it’s spun in the blender it would turn out okay.
Actually, I think it you used firm and tweaked the ingredients a bit it would be a good substitute for cream cheese. I’ll have to try that and see what happens. 🙂
