My mom used to make this when I was a kid and it’s delicious – and so simple to make. Check out Duncan Hines cake mixes because a lot of them are vegan. If you’re not vegan, then just use your favorite.
1 can pie filling (blueberry, apple, cherry)
1 small [8 x 8] size package of white cake mix (I usually use yellow myself)
1/2 stick butter
Spread the pie filling in the bottom of an 8 x 8 pan. Then sprinkle the dry white cake mix over the top of the pie filling. Cut butter into small pieces and put the pieces of butter on the top of the cake mix. Sprinkle a small amount of sugar on top. Bake at 350 until golden brown.
